As 2012 comes to a close and we start looking toward a great 2013 racing season at Lanco I would first of all like to THANK all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication to making the past season a success. To the drivers, car owners and members Thank You for your support and for putting on some Awesome races for the fans to watch. I would also like to say THANK YOU to Tim Bortz for all that he has done for the club in the last 4 years as President and for continuing to help out at the track in the upcoming season.
Congratulations to our 2012 point champions: Jason Swavely (Sportsman); Richie Hartman (125);
Chip Geib (4 Stroke); Mike Rutherford (270 and 600). Best of luck to all drivers in their pursuit of a 2013 championship.
Looking towards the upcoming 2013 season, LANCO will be going back to racing a regular show on June 29th which will include a Slingshot Series Nation event. We are still working out the details for a 600 speedweek race on July 6th with a 270 class support race. The Labor Day Shootout will be ran as two complete shows again in 2013, with the winged 600cc, Sportsman and 4 Stroke classes running on Saturday, August 31st. On Sunday, September 1st, the popular wingless 600cc sprints will be joined by the 270cc and 125cc classes. Also, on April 27th, LANCO will hold a Fan Appreciation Night offering free general admission for the night’s racing activities. All this along with the very special Memorial races we have during the season should make for an exciting 2013 !!!!

There are no changes in the membership fees from 2012. Memberships are $35.00 if received between January 1 and March 15, memberships received after March 15 will be $50.00. Membership cards for drivers and owners will not be handed out until inspection day.
