As we bring the 2013 year to a close we can look back at some of the great memories from this season that has made it a success. A packed house for our Fan Appreciation Day that helped us raise over $9,000 for the Christ Home for children along with a truckload of food to stock their pantry, a nice Memorial Day weekend, a great slingshot return to The Clyde, sun for the speedweek show, everyone enduring our way through Labor Day weekend, AND ONLY 2 RAINOUTS…
I personally want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our officials and volunteers for all the countless hours of dedication to our club, also to the drivers, crew members, and fans that show up every week to demonstrate why we are “The Biggest Little Track in the USA”
We all need to send Congratulations to our 2013 champions Jason Swavely (Sportsman);
Richie Hartman (125); Chip Geib (4-Stroke); Mike Rutherford (270); and Heath Hehnly (600) they have all prevailed through a tough season to earn their championships. I see a lot of teams are already putting in plenty of effort to campaign for a 2014 championship, which means we will all be treated to awesome racing throughout the season. Best of luck to everyone as they prepare for the 2014 season.
