Membership forms will be e-mailed to anyone who submitted an e-mail address on their application last year. The remainder will be mailed and forms will also be available online when Lanco’s new website is unveiled. Members were told that memberships are due by March 15th for a 35.00 membership fee, after the deadline membership price will increase to 50.00.
Old Business:
The website is about 95% finished and will be a lot more user friendly. Ken Miller has put many hours into refurbishing our website and we are all excited. The rule book will also be available on the website and during race season at the pit shack at the track.
New Business:
The race schedule is very similar to the 2009 race season, 2 dates have been set aside for the Xcel Modified class and there are some tentative dates for the young gun and Pro series events.
The 270 Class will be the supporting class for the Micro mania Show this year. The entries will be limited and members will have first dibs at the number of available slots.
For the Good of the Club:
It was noted that the slide show presentation at the banquet was a very nice addition and gave the racers a bit more recognition. Mike Batz made the slide show and his time was very much appreciated.
With no further business Tim entertained a motion to adjourn from Gloria with a second from Pete. The motion passed by majority vote at 7:52PM.
