Newmanstown, Pa. - May 8 - Because he won the first feature run on Saturday, May 8, Jason Swavely became the first driver to score his second victory of 2010 at Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. By the end of the evening, though, Swavely was joined by three other wheel-twisters who also registered their second triumph of the young season.

Swavely, from Birdsboro Pa., notched his second win in the past three weeks when he captured the checkered flag in the Race to a Cure main event for the 270cc Micro-Sprints. A short while later, Jamie Fetterolf recorded his second victory in the Sportsman class, and Dave Grube made it win number two in the 125cc headliner. The nightcap, a 25-lapper for the 250cc Four-Stroke Micros, went to Chip Geib, who visited the winner's circle for the second week in a row. Mark Yoder, Reinholds, won the first 600cc feature race of his career in the 25-lap main event for that division.

The entire evening was dedicated to raising awareness (and funds) to finding a cure for breast cancer. The track's first Breast Cancer Awareness Night was organized and coordinated by 270cc driver Sheena Schaefer and her team, and it was a resounding success.
